Why do I need grief support? Walking alone in grief can be overwhelming, confusing, exhausting, and even dangerous. We need a compassionate guide who knows the unfamiliar road ahead of us and will provide a safe and calm place to process our grief. When grief is witnessed and understood, healing and renewed hope can begin.
What is a Grief Educator? A Grief Educator is trained and certified to support the bereaved as they walk through the loss of a loved one. By offering an individualized approach, people in grief are fully seen, heard, and cared for in a safe space. The foundation of serving comes from a place of connection, compassion, and curiosity. Believing that grief can be both traumatic and transformative, grief educators become a trusted guide walking with the bereaved along their unique journey.
What do you specialize in? Although Laura is certified to help all grieving souls, she has unique life experiences to specifically support these losses: • Child Loss • Death by Suicide • Traumatic Loss • Sudden Loss • Death by Addiction • Complicated Loss • Faith, Hope, and Love
What can I expect from our free introductory session? This is a get-to-know you session where Laura will ask you questions about your loved one and your unique grief journey. Together you will explore what you need and the opportunities of her becoming your grief guide and compassionate confidant.
What does a typical coaching session look like? Your grief will be witnessed in a safe and confidential place. You will be invited to share stories about your loved one and explore all your thoughts and emotions. Laura will encourage, educate, equip, and empower you to take the next step in your unique grief journey.
